Certain 2020 F-150 vehicles have been recalled by Ford, due to an improper attachment nut that may have been used to attach the battery positive power supply. This issue may affect the 2020 F-150’s starter motor- thus resulting in poor electrical conductivity. Drivers may also feel excessive heat as well as some electrical arcing.

Ford Recall Number Five – Emergency Spare Tire 

Ford is asking vehicle owners of certain 2020 F-150 vehicles that are outfitted with 17-inch spare tires to come to a local Ford dealership. The spare tire may have been damaged after it was installed on the vehicle’s rim.

Ford Recall Number Six- Faulty Battery Cables 

A number of 2019-2020 F-150 vehicles have been recalled due to the fact that the fastener securing the PDB which stands for the Power Distribution Box/ 12V cable and BMS- may become loose. Engine stalling may also be a factor.

As Ford notifies affected vehicle owners, they will perform a free inspection of the battery cable/BMS/PDB joint B+. The inspection will check for additional sealant adhesive. Ford Recall Number Seven- Improper Assembly of Seat Mechanism

In addition to specific Ford F150s, several other Ford vehicles are among the vehicles a part of this recall.  It is possible that the recliner mechanisms may not be equipped with a third pawl – which is a must for strength. If missing or loose, there could be a loose seat back.

Power Steering is Yet Another Problem With the 2020 Ford F-150

This clunk for the owner, was also accompanied by a jerk – before the truck then resumed normal operation. After a bit of time passed, the owner also cited that after turning the truck left during driving, there was some noticeable hesitation, before the truck was fully operable again. There have been other times that the owner noticed bouts of hesitation from his/her 2020 Ford F150.

This particular owner of a 2020 F150 delivery of a brand-new 2020 F150 on July of 2020. It was then that the owner began feeling slight vibrations in the back of the truck. The owner also began hearing odd noises. So, the owner took his/her new 2020 to a Ford dealership for an inspection and repair. The owner stated that the dealership turned the rotors of the truck- resulting in a full replacement of the rotors. The owner was also told that the truck’s axle would be replaced too.
