My truck has around 650 miles on it. He explained to me that the Gen 1 10-speeds have a chain-driven pump inside them causing the metal to metal sound. That’s going to be a lot of metal shavings pooling inside her.”

 

The good news for anyone facing this issue is that it’s actually not something that’ll need to be repaired right away. This 2020 F-250 was advised that they could continue driving their pickup truck around until Ford could make things right.

What Is the Best Way to Fix This 2020 F-250 Transmission Problem?

In the end, they were eventually able to find out that they had a faulty input shaft speed sensor that was to blame for their transmission troubles. They had it replaced, and it put a stop to their 2020 F-250 transmission problems.
